Shehreen has been gravitating towards social impact work after many years in the corporate sector. She enjoys working with clients on mission-critical initiatives that endeavor to improve livelihoods so that all may thrive. Her formative years as an industrial engineer shaped her into an adaptive, results-oriented professional, bringing both a human-centric systems lens and business discipline to her work. She supports clients in achieving their goals by driving for clarity in ambiguity, sharing insights through data and information, and pushing them to imagine the possibilities when creating systems-level change strategies. 
 
An advocate for a more inclusive society, Shehreen is interested in developing strategies that address issues of equity and social justice. To this end, her approach involves examining programs, policies, and processes using an equity lens to understand what the outcomes may be—intended or otherwise. She understands that these issues are complex and uncomfortable to navigate at times, and is optimistic that these challenges can be met in collaborative pursuit.
 
Shehreen joined ORS in 2019, after working in technology, government, and academic sectors. She has a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Mercer University and an MBA in Sustainable Solutions from Presidio Graduate School. When she’s not working, she is being entertained by the “Oakley and Georgie Show,” starring her two pups, or spending time on the lake with friends and family.
