Alex Chew , MPA

Senior Consultant


Alex enjoys helping clients working toward social change understand where and how they are making a difference, and answer the questions that will allow them to be more effective in their work. He brings a wealth of international and domestic policy analysis and program evaluation experience to this work, and loves using both qualitative and quantitative data that provide deeper insights to inspire action. 

Alex joined ORS Impact in 2014. He previously worked as a performance auditor at the Washington State Auditor’s Office carrying out evaluations of Washington’s educational and social services programs. He has also worked as a researcher for the Evans Policy Analysis Research Group (EPAR), which provides analytical support to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Alex holds an MPA degree from the Evans School of Public Affairs and the University of Washington, and a BA in Hispanic Studies from Oberlin College.

Alex lives in Columbia City. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and basketball, brewing beer, and cooking. He is always looking forward to his next opportunity to travel, whether for work or pleasure.
